I make this face mask once a week, it's easy to make and you don't have to fuss about with exact measurements since it's pretty versatile, you can make a thin or a thick paste based on how much water you add. The powder dissolves completely, but it does leave tiny grainy bits behind, which honestly are not even an issue, because it doubles up as a soft exfoliator too. I use it once weekly and notice my skin feels smoother and looks clearer, less oily too. The natural salt in the seaweed content helps with oily patches without over drying, but I noticed it was a little bit harsh around the eye area, probably because of the salt. The powder stays fresh thanks to the airtight seal. A little goes quite far when mixing masks, you can make them the consistency you prefer, and it works well combined with other ingredients like honey or yoghurt and even eggs if you want to take it that far.

Reviewing this for Vine, my wife & I both decided to test it. Instructions with the pack seemed a bit iffy, so we reverted to the product details on Amazon. My wife chose to slap some on as a face mask. Couple of teaspoons, mixed with hot(ish) water. Seemed to mix well, without any real clumping. The more water, the more loose the paste becomes. Must admit, the smell sure is of seaweed. Not too unpleasant, as we live by the coast. She left it on for about ten minutes, then rinsed/wiped it off. I choose to have a foot soak. Same amount of powder, then a basin full of water. Again mixed well & it felt utter bliss. Very effective, I could feel my feet tingling. Very, very relaxing. So our conclusion, the product is top notch. Leaving skin smooth, with a nice glowing feeling. Claims to be packed with vitamins & minerals, to be honest, it feels it too! It certainly gives you the "Spa feeling" & we were both impressed.At £22 per pack, its not cheap. However its very indulgent.

I've been using this seaweed powder for face masks for about 10 years and I love it!! Leaves my skin feeling so clear and clean. Can't wait to start using it in my baby's bath now too

I used this seaweed in a bath and also in a foot soak. Wow, the results are fantastic. My skin feels really good and soft afterwards. I also used a natural bath bomb to hid the smell in my bath water. This does help. I do wish there were a leaflet or more info on the packaging to give measures and guidance. There is plenty on this product page but not a lot to go by on the packet. Pricey but that’s what you get when it’s natural and works!
