The first thing bathing in Aalgo or using it in paste form will do is KILL that ITCH you will then feel all the rough skin starting to slowly heal and exfoliate away – and after a few weeks new silky soft rejuvenated skin appears

1Kg

2 heaped tablespoons (large vegetable serving spoons) of Aalgo in a LUKE WARM bath. Bath every day (no showers if possible) we are trying to keep the invisible residue of Aalgo on your skin until the problem is clear. If you want to wash your hair have a shower before your bath. Try and have a couple of long Aalgo baths a week, lying back with your neck muscles in the water to totally destress and relax (we hold stress in our bodies as tension in our neck, shoulders and back)
Have an Aalgo bath every day until clear then once a week thereafter
If it is impossible to bath mix some Aalgo with water into a watery cream and apply all over the body leave on for about 5/10 minutes and shower off. Always make sure the shower is at half power and only luke warm.
• The dreadful ITCH will ease leaving skin soothed
• Anywhere you have scratched raw will heal.
• The dead and dry skin will naturally and gently exfoliate away and the new skin will appear soft, supple and clear.
Maintenence: Always use LUKE WARM WATER. Enjoy having a long relaxing Aalgo bath once a week. If you feel the slightest dry skin, have a bath that night. If you have a stressfull day bath that night and get your neck muscles in the water. Always have an Aalgo bath after swimming in an indoor pool to counter the effects of the chlorine.

Facial - Perioral dermatitis:
• Mix 2 teaspoons of Aalgo with enough hot water to make a cream
• Cool to blood temperature
• Apply with a spatula or the back of the teaspoon
• Leave on for 2 minutes
• Remove with tepid water and cotton wool
• Close pores with either your own skin tonic, or cold water and cotton wool
• Pat dry with cotton wool
• Apply moisturiser
We would suggest that you use the mask daily for about 2 minutes until skin is clear then three times for two weeks and once a week there after.

Scalp, face, upper chest and back - Seborrheic dermatitis:
• For the scalp mix to a watery cream apply all through the hair and scalp
• Cover with cling film – keeping behind the ears
• Leave on for 15 minutes
• Wash out with Aalgo seaweed shampoo bar – wash and rinse twice
We would suggest you do this daily until scalp is clear. Always wash your hair with Aalgo seaweed shampoo bar and if necessary use a natural conditioner.

Hands and Feet - Dyshidrosis also known as dyshidrotic eczema or pompholyx:
For the hands (get some decorating plastic gloves or the ones used at petrol pumps for dispensing diesel) mix aalgo to a seaweed cream with hot water, pore into the gloves only half filling them, put your hands into the gloves. This way you will get the paste all over your fingers and hands, sit like this for about 20 minutes before going to bed(while on in a paste it is acting as a healer and an exfoliater to get rid of all the dead dry chapped skin) then rinse your hands in a basin of LUKE WARM water (not under the tap) this way the water will be brown but your hands will be clean, just pat dry - there will be an invisible residue left on your hands which you will absorb through your pores during the night and this will hydrate the skin from the inside out. Repeat this daily until the hands are 100% clear.

For the feet mix Aalgo to a thick seaweed cream with hot water apply at blood temperature to the soles of the feet and all around the heals, cover loosely with cling film, put on socks leave on over night. In the morning rinse your feet in a basin of LUKE WARM water and rub the area with your hands, pat dry. IF YOU ARE A DIABETIC do NOT leave on OVERNIGHT only leave on for about half an hour and then rinse off in a basin of water,
If the problem is on both hands and feet after three days just bath daily with 2 heaped tablespoons of Aalgo in a luke warm bath - do this in the evening so that the feet are not going back into socks or shoes until the next day, and the hands are not going back into water until the next day.
Continue having an Aalgo bath daily until totally clear - then 1-2 baths per week to keep clear.
When showering, always have a basin with enough water and some Aalgo dissolved in it out side the shower for you to step into after the shower - this will remove all the residue of shampoos, shower gels, soap etc that are in the foot well of the shower and prevent your feet from healing.
If there was no residue we wouldn't have to clean our showers

Legs - Statis dermatitis:
Use a deep basin or bucket fill with LUKE WARM WATER and 1to 2 tablespoons of Aalgo sit with you legs and feet in this for about half and hour then pat the skin dry and sit with your legs up. Put your moisturisers on about an hour later this will give the invisible residue of Aalgo time to be absorbed. Do this daily.
OR
Put 2 tablespoons of Aalgo in a LUKE WARM bath for about half and hour then pat the skin dry and sit with your legs up. Put your moisturisers on about an hour later this will give the invisible residue of Aalgo time to be absorbed. Do this daily

What is Eczema/Dermatitis? It is a general term that describes an inflammation of the skin. Although the disorder can have many causes and occur in many forms, it usually involves swollen, reddened and itchy skin. It is a common condition that usually is not life threatening or contagious. But, it can make you feel uncomfortable and self-conscious.

When people with eczema/dermatitis swim in the sea every day their eczema/dermatitis clears. Aalgo in a lukewarm bath turns your bath water into sea water, without the stinging effect of the salt, acting as a healer and exfoliater to your skin. On getting out of the bath, there is an invisible residue, which you absorb through your pores thus hydrating the skin from the inside out.
As a treatment for eczema Aalgo relieves the persistent itch, allowing for a better nights sleep, reduces overall redness, and in most cases clears it completely.

Atopic dermatitis: more commonly known as just eczema or atopic eczema, a chronic itchy rash that tends to come and go.

Contact eczema/dermatitis: a rash that results from either repeated contact with irritants – perfumes, cleaners, liquid soap, or contact with allergy-producing substances, such as poison ivy.

Neurodermatitis/ Lichen simplex chronicus: a chronic itchy skin condition localized to certain areas of the skin.
This can be very irritating as it develops where one has tight clothing which may rub or scratch; for example at the back of the neck, ankles, wrists, outer fore arm and under the bust. It appears as a rash or redness and is usually very itchy.

Common signs and symptoms include

• Itchy skin in a single, limited area
• Leathery or scaly texture to the skin
• Raised, rough patch that is red or darker than the rest of your skin

Facial - Perioral dermatitis: a bumpy rash around the mouth

Scalp, Face, Upper Chest, Back - Seborrheic dermatitis: A common skin disorder that mainly affects your scalp, causing scaly, itchy, red skin and stubborn dandruff. It is often found on oily areas of the body, such as the face, upper chest and back. It doesn't affect your overall health, but can be uncomfortable and cause embarrassment when it develops on visible parts of your body. It isn't contagious, and is not a sign of poor personal hygiene. It tends to re-occur, but may be managed by recognizing its signs and symptoms.

Common signs and symptoms include
• Patchy scaling or thick crusts on the scalp
• Yellow or white scales that may attach to the hair
• Red, greasy skin covered with flaky white or yellow scales
• severe itching or soreness
• Skin flakes or dandruff

Hands and Feet - Dyshidrosis also known as dyshidrotic eczema or pompholyx: comes as tiny bumps called vesicles, thickening of the skin and cracking, it is unbearably itchy and only comes on the hands and feet
This has increased beyond belief within the last six years - we find at exhibitions that about 1 in 3 of everyone we speak to suffers with this problem.

Legs - Statis dermatitis: a skin condition that's caused by a build up of fluid under the skin of the legs. Affects the lower leg where fluid build up in the tissue beneath the skin interferes with the bloods ability to nourish the skin thus placing extra pressure on the skin from within. It occurs when varicose veins or other circulatory conditions cause fluids to build up in the lower legs. This causes the skin at your ankles and shins to become discoloured, thick and itchy.

Common signs and symptoms include
• Skin discolouration - red or brown - on the ankles or shins
• Itching and redness
• Thickened skin
• Open sores or ulcers

I've been using Aalgo for my psoriasis for 3 weeks - bathing 2-3 times a week and making the paste for problem areas. It has been fantastic! all the flaking and itching gone and skin healing - able to get my arms uncovered for the first time in years!! Also my 12 year old daughter has used the face mask and it has cleared up her little pimples. I've recommended it to my friend whose daughter and partner both have eczema
Thanks a mil xxx

The seaweed we harvest off the North West, West and South West coasts of Ireland contains large air sacks and as a result it floats vertically in small forests normally found in sheltered rocky bays.
Containing very high concentrations B1, B2, B3, B6, E ,H, K3, vitamin C and Beta – Carotene, and many minerals.
Asco dressings have been used for many years now for internal wounds and burns.

We aim to bring health and in particular skin wellbeing through the powerful, natural, healing properties of seaweed by supplying you with an authentic certified organic seaweed powder which we have produced from hand – harvested wild seaweeds with nothing added and nothing taken from them.

Our powdered seaweed gives you a bath which nourishes the body, improves wellbeing and above all clears the skin of rashes, dryness and any itchy skin problems in particular eczema and psoriasis, whilst stimulating the lymphatic system. It detoxifies the body leaving one feeling refreshed and revitalised.
